The Final Step in Your Comeback

Smart, Structured Training for Strength, Speed & Longevity

Returning to activity after an injury isn’t just about being “pain-free”—it’s about being strong, fast, and ready for whatever your activity demands. If you’re looking for a smart, structured plan to return stronger than before, we’re here to help.

The 3-Step Return to Sport Process

Phase 1: Assessment & Planning

Before we start training, we gather as much information as possible to create a plan that’s right for you.

  • Identify limitations & movement restrictions – We assess range of motion, strength levels, and movement quality.
  • Review your current program – What exercises have you been doing? What’s working? What’s not?
  • Evaluate pain & compensations – Understanding when and where you feel pain and what provides relief.
  • Define your goals – Whether it’s returning to competitive sports, weekend activities, or pain-free movement, we build a personalized roadmap to get you there.

Phase 2: Strength & Movement Progression

With a solid plan in place, we start rebuilding strength and movement—pain-free.

  • Strength first – We work on restoring full strength and mobility, modifying exercises as needed.
  • Movement quality & efficiency – We fine-tune mechanics to make sure you move with confidence.
  • Progressive loading – As you build strength, we gradually increase intensity, load, and complexity to match your activity demands.
  • Introduction of plyometrics & agility – When appropriate, we start reintroducing explosive movements, change of direction, and impact work to prepare you.

Phase 3: Confidence & Full Return to Sport

Strength and movement quality are only part of the equation—confidence is key.

  • Bridging the mental gap – Even when the body is ready, many athletes hesitate to fully trust their movement again. We help you push past that barrier.
  • Sport/activity-specific return – Training becomes more specific to your sport, or activity level to ensure a seamless transition back.
  • Gradual reintroduction & ongoing support – We support you as you ease back into full participation, ensuring you feel strong, capable, and fully prepared.

“After a tricky ACL surgery, I found myself in need of additional help once my insurance stopped covering physical therapy. Cody stepped in and made all the difference. His extensive knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to modify workouts and movements specifically for my needs was incredible. When I started working with him about 8 months ago, I could barely walk without limping. Fast forward to this summer, and I successfully completed the entire Colorado Trail—something I never thought would be possible after surgery.”

“Cody and the whole team have single-handedly made me feel confident in the final steps of my ACL recovery. They have the knowledge, equipment, and tailored workouts to get you feeling 100%. Highly recommend this place for all of your strength goals.”

“After many hip surgeries and an ankle surgery, Cody has been able to get me back to better than I was before. Not only is he very knowledgeable on surgery/injury recovery and overall sports/activity readiness and wellness, but he also makes sure all his clients are training properly for maximum results and to prevent injury. On top of this, it is very clear that he cares about all his patients and ensures that you get out what you put in during each training session. The gym itself is always in great condition and there is a wide variety of equipment and space for any and all training needs. I cannot say enough positive things about this facility and the staff!”
